COME IN & RELAX

SELLING SECONDHAND ITEMS & PLANTS
TEA. COFFEE. CHAT. SHORT FOOT MASSAGES. GIANT JIGSAW. CONTINUOUS GAMES.

This is our 4th Annual Pop-up Shop where we sell donated second hand items, books and plants to raise money for a Youth Minister and the upgrading of the Church hall for use by Youth and the community.

Everyone is welcome to come in and relax with a free coffee, tea, slice and chat, with free tracts and booklets to stimulate discussion, or you might like to join in a board game or help complete the giant jigsaw.

There will also be a free 10-minute foot massage for those who book in. (Mornings Only).

THE ODD JOB ARMY

The Odd Job Army will also be available free, during these 4 days, for any small handyman jobs.

The elderly will be given preference.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops are also an addition this year. See below. Some have limited numbers so call Ann on 0428291902 to book your spot. Children under 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult unless otherwise agreed to by instructor.

Card Up-cycling: Bring your old cards, scissors, glue any trims you might have and create new cards with the guidance of Yvonne Devenish and Pam Ramsay.

Knit-In / Sew-In: bring your latest projects to share and if you can not knit, sew, embroider come along anyway and we’ll show you how. There will be spare supplies. Perhaps we can whip up some 6” (15cm) squares for a raffle rug!

Easter Egg Decoration: Decorate some eggs to take home and display for the Easter period. You can bring your own hard boiled or blown eggs or use the supplied sugar eggs. Gloves, brushes, colours, shrink-wrap cellophane bags will be supplied. Don’t wear good clothes!  Must book in.

Juggling: make some juggling balls and learn how to juggle with Simon Waller. Materials supplied.

20 L container buckets: Bill MacIntosh will show you how to make the best bucket you will ever own. Bring your pliers, rest of the materials will be supplied.

Kite Construction: learn how to make a cheap and simple kite with Rod Smith. Materials supplied.

Guitar & Ukulele Lessons: with Bill MacIntosh. Your own instrument is probably not necessary but If you have an instrument or can borrow one that’s great.  

EVENING SCREENING

DVD and Q&A: The DVD is titled For the Love of God – How the Church is better and worse than you ever imagined.

This 4-part documentary will promote plenty of discussion and we hope people will come to sort through life’s most important questions and decisions. Sessions will be informal and relaxed with a light supper provided.

We seek to help you find peace and hope, purpose and meaning.
